U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $307.45m on Friday, extending their run of positive sessions to five days and taking the total raised during that period to about $1.92bn.
The latest wave of buying lifted the combined assets held by bitcoin ETFs to $96.07bn, putting the sector close to recovering the $100bn mark. The sustained demand came as bitcoin’s price rallied and institutional allocations increased during the final three sessions of the week.
All seven bitcoin funds reported inflows on Friday, with no redemptions recorded. BlackRock’s IBIT led the market with $239.28m, accounting for about 77% of the day’s total. Fidelity’s FBTC added $30.19m, while Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust attracted $13.62m.
Bitwise’s BITB received $9.21m, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT took in $7.73m, VanEck’s HODL added $4.36m and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB recorded $3.07m.
Trading across the bitcoin ETF group reached $6.37bn on Friday. Net assets increased by roughly $6bn from Thursday’s level to close at $96.07bn.
Friday completed a five-session period in which bitcoin ETFs consistently attracted fresh capital. The week’s momentum strengthened in its closing stages, with the market’s biggest inflows arriving as bitcoin prices rose and institutional participation grew.
Ether ETFs also completed a five-day winning run, taking in $184.93m on Friday and bringing their total inflows for the period to $697.18m.
BlackRock’s ETHA again accounted for the majority of the daily demand, attracting $150.83m, or approximately 82% of the total. Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust added $11.51m, while BlackRock’s ETHB received $9.94m.
Fidelity’s FETH recorded $9.62m in inflows, Bitwise’s ETHW added $2.24m and Morgan Stanley’s MSSE gained about $779,000. None of the ether funds reported an outflow.
Ether ETF trading value reached $1.67bn, while their combined net assets closed at $14.29bn.
Demand also extended to newer cryptocurrency funds. XRP ETFs collected $18.38m, led by Bitwise’s XRP fund with $16.89m. Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ added $1.49m. Trading value for XRP ETFs reached $94.03m and total assets rose to $1.33bn.
Solana funds attracted a further $10.07m. Bitwise’s BSOL accounted for $8.73m and Fidelity’s FSOL brought in $1.35m, taking combined solana ETF assets to $1.12bn.
HYPE ETFs recorded no net flows.
The breadth of Friday’s buying capped an especially strong week for cryptocurrency investment products. Every bitcoin and ether ETF that reported a flow finished the session without a single redemption, indicating that institutional demand for crypto-linked funds was at its strongest level in months.
Bitcoin ETFs took in $606.29m on Thursday, their strongest session of the week, while ether funds attracted $220.77m. With inflows continuing across bitcoin, ether, XRP and solana products, Wall Street’s appetite for cryptocurrency exposure remained firm through the end of the week.
