US-listed cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds focused on assets other than Bitcoin and Ethereum attracted almost $90m in the week ending 21 August, as investors followed a broad market rally into XRP, Solana, Chainlink and Hyperliquid.
XRP-focused products recorded the largest inflows, with $39.78m invested during the week. It was their strongest performance since the week ending 15 May, when they drew approximately $60.5m.
Solana funds received $28.34m, while Chainlink products took in $13.35m and Hyperliquid funds attracted $3.89m, according to data from SoSoValue.
The latest figures show the cryptocurrency rally spreading beyond the two largest digital assets. Spot Bitcoin ETFs brought in $1.92bn over the same period, while Ethereum products added about $697m. Together, Bitcoin and Ethereum funds collected $2.61bn – their strongest combined weekly inflow since October 2025 and the best result of 2026.
The smaller funds accounted for only a limited share of that total, but several extended their run of positive weekly inflows as demand reached further into the market.
XRP rose by about 50% during the week, climbing from below $1 to a high of $1.60 before falling back to $1.49 at the time of publication. The latest inflow extended XRP funds’ positive streak to six consecutive weeks, with around $72m invested during that period.
Since the US launch of the products, cumulative net inflows into XRP funds have reached approximately $1.55bn. Weekly trading volume also climbed to a record $271.74m, with activity accelerating as XRP broke higher.
The previous comparable increase came during the week ending 15 May, when XRP products attracted about $60.5m despite withdrawals from Bitcoin and Ethereum funds.
Solana products have recorded an even longer period of sustained demand. Their $28.34m weekly inflow marked an eighth consecutive week of positive flows and was their strongest result since approximately $58m entered the funds in mid-May.
The eight-week run has generated about $56.3m, lifting total net inflows since launch to roughly $1.19bn.
Solana’s stronger ETF demand has coincided with a recovery in the price of SOL following a prolonged decline. The token rose by approximately 24% last week and briefly moved above $100 for the first time since February, although it later fell back to about $93 after giving up part of its weekend gains.
Smaller funds also attract fresh demand
The rally also reached newer and smaller ETF categories.
Hyperliquid funds recorded $3.89m of inflows for a third straight positive week. Almost $10m entered the products across that three-week period, taking cumulative net inflows to nearly $287m. Assets held in the funds rose above $350m as HYPE advanced.
HYPE reached a record high of about $82 during the week before easing to $79 at the time of publication.
President Donald Trump highlighted efforts to create a legal route for Hyperliquid to operate in the US during a meeting with cryptocurrency executives at the White House on 19 August. The discussion provided an additional policy catalyst for the token’s rise.
Trump also called on Congress to progress legislation governing the structure of cryptocurrency markets. His comments formed part of a series of regulatory signals that helped support digital-asset prices during the week.
Chainlink funds produced their strongest revival since launching. Their $13.35m weekly inflow was the largest since the products attracted about $48m during their debut week, taking cumulative net inflows to approximately $142m.
LINK gained about 22%, reaching $12 for the first time since January before retreating to $11.40.
Demand for other funds remained more limited. Avalanche products received approximately $1.3m, Hedera funds attracted about $848,000 and Dogecoin ETFs added $654,416.
The figures indicate that institutional investment is beginning to spread deeper into the cryptocurrency market after months in which allocations outside Bitcoin and Ethereum remained comparatively subdued.
The nearly $90m invested in the smaller products remains modest beside the $2.61bn absorbed by Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. However, longer inflow streaks and sharp gains across several tokens point to the broadest participation in the rally so far.
XRP was up 3.26% over the previous 24 hours at the time of publication and ranked fourth by market capitalisation.
