Evernorth Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: XRPN) is marking the history of a 13-year-old XRP wallet with a limited merchandise collaboration aimed at supporters of the Fuzzybear community.
The company announced the Evernorth x Fuzzy initiative on 22 October, with chief business officer Sagar Shah describing it as recognition for long-standing participants in the XRP ecosystem. Fuzzybear is the name of the wallet, while the Fuzzies are the community that has developed around its story.
Fuzzybear was activated on 21 February 2013, about eight months after the XRP Ledger launched in June 2012. On 1 January 2014, the wallet placed an order on the ledger’s built-in decentralised exchange offering 1 XRP for 1 Bitstamp-issued BTC.
Evernorth views that transaction as an indication of confidence in XRP’s faster settlement, lower fees and native trading functions compared with earlier blockchains.
The Fuzzies were established by long-standing ecosystem participants in January 2025. The group adopted a scruffy bear mascot and has since developed tokens, artwork, trading cards and in-person gatherings.
Evernorth estimates that the community has more than 20,000 participants across X, Telegram and the XRP Ledger. Its activities combine interests in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology with physical collectibles and social events.
The collaboration follows an earlier Evernorth XRP community campaign featuring Bearchamp, a boxing bear character created by Chicago artist JC Rivera.
The new merchandise is being released during Swell 2026 week, Ripple’s annual finance and blockchain conference in New York, and will feature both Evernorth and Fuzzy branding.
Fuzzybear ($FUZZY) is a community token issued on the XRP Ledger to commemorate the historical wallet. It is separate from XRP, the network’s native cryptocurrency. Evernorth says it does not endorse, sponsor or promote $FUZZY, other digital assets or non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are unique blockchain tokens that can represent collectibles or other items.
The company identifies XRP as its primary treasury asset and says an increase in its value may benefit the business.
Trading in Evernorth shares began on the public market on 12 October, giving investors exposure to its actively managed XRP treasury. The Nasdaq debut followed a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II, a special purpose acquisition company formed to take another business public. Evernorth reported holding approximately 473 million XRP when the transaction closed.
Two days later, on 14 October, company leaders marked the listing with a ceremony at Nasdaq Marketsite in New York’s Times Square. During the Nasdaq closing-bell event, Evernorth also outlined its aim of increasing the amount of XRP held per share through investment strategies, ecosystem participation and capital markets activities.
The first Fuzzycon gathering is scheduled for 26 October at Creature’s Rooftop in New York City, running from 5 to 11 p.m. Organisers say the event will offer free admission, card games, merchandise and giveaways.
Attendance is restricted to guests aged at least 21 who present valid photo identification. Capacity is limited to 150 people at a time.
Evernorth’s treasury is led by a former co-chief investment officer of Coinbase Asset Management and held approximately 473 million XRP at closing.
