Bitcoin ETFs recorded $282.56 million in net outflows on Thursday, their third consecutive session of losses, as bitcoin traded near $77,000.
The selling spread across almost every major issuer, with six funds ending the day in negative territory. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB registered the largest outflow at $164.32 million.
Grayscale’s GBTC saw $36.38 million withdrawn, while Fidelity’s FBTC lost $33.55 million. Blackrock’s IBIT recorded $24.46 million in outflows, Vaneck’s HODL shed $15.27 million and Bitwise’s BITB fell by $12.56 million.
Morgan Stanley’s MSBT was the only fund among those listed to attract significant new money, taking in $3.98 million. That inflow provided only a limited offset to the wider withdrawals.
Trading in the bitcoin ETF sector reached $1.70 billion on Thursday, while total net assets declined to $97.49 billion. With one session remaining in the week, cumulative bitcoin ETF outflows have reached $449.44 million.
The decline comes as the price of bitcoin remains close to $77,000, putting continued institutional demand under scrutiny.
Ether funds also lose ground
Ether ETFs moved into negative territory, reporting $29.76 million in net outflows for the day.
Fidelity’s FETH accounted for the largest withdrawals, with $25.15 million leaving the fund. Blackrock’s ETHA lost $18.59 million and Grayscale’s ETHE recorded $7.72 million in outflows.
Other products attracted fresh investment. Blackrock’s ETHB received $13.95 million, while Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust added $7.75 million.
Overall trading value for Ether ETFs reached $773.37 million, with net assets ending the session at $15.60 billion.
XRP remains the exception
XRP ETFs were the only category to post a positive result on Thursday, receiving $5.14 million in net inflows.
All of that money went into Franklin’s XRPZ. The category recorded $25.63 million in trading value, while net assets closed at $1.45 billion.
The inflow came despite XRP’s price falling by about 7% over the past seven days, making the continued demand for XRP ETFs a notable contrast with the wider weakness across crypto funds.
Solana ETFs registered a modest net outflow of $482,550. Fidelity’s FSOL attracted $888,410, but that was outweighed by a $1.37 million withdrawal from Bitwise’s BSOL.
Solana ETF trading value reached $42.50 million and net assets finished at $1.39 billion.
HYPE ETFs recorded no net flow during the session, with net assets closing at $437.01 million.
The figures leave bitcoin ETFs as the main source of pressure going into the final session of the week, while XRP continues to show the strongest near-term resilience in fund flows.
