Binance co-founder Yi He is encouraging users to claim personalised names for AI agents through the Binance App, with the proposed identifiers ending in “.ai”.
In an Oct. 20 Xpost, Yi He presented a gold digital card carrying the name “heyi.ai” and described Agent ID as an agent’s individual identity.
“Agent ID Your Agent’s unique name,” reads the English translation shown in the post.
The promotion invites Binance users to claim an exclusive Agent ID in the app. A separate community explanation presents the names as an alternative to lengthy wallet addresses beginning with “0x”.
Community contributor Kuroven also demonstrated the feature with a card labelled “kuroven.ai”. The accompanying instructions tell users to open Binance Wallet, find the Agent ID banner, select a preferred name and create the wallet.
The promotional cards carry Binance branding alongside the words “Agent ID” and “One and Only”. Neither post, however, shows a payment, token transfer or trade being completed using one of the displayed names.
Agent ID linked to Binance’s AI wallet tools
The naming feature follows Binance’s launch of Agent OS on Aug. 20. The platform combines the company’s APIs, Wallet Agentic Hub, x402 payment tools, Skill Hub and Model Context Protocol support in a single environment for developers.
As crypto.news previously reported, Agent OS gives compatible AI applications controlled access to supported exchange functions.
Binance described Wallet Agentic Hub as a collection of wallet tools for agent-led activity carried out within permissions set by users. It presented x402 as infrastructure for agent payments and settlement, while Skill Hub offers modular tools covering market data, wallets, trading and blockchain activity.
Model Context Protocol acts as the connection layer between compatible applications and supported Binance functions. The company’s announcement names Claude Code, Claude, Codex, ChatGPT and VS Code among the compatible clients.
According to that announcement, authorised applications using Binance’s MCP integration can view balances, positions and account records for an agent subaccount. Users can also allow the application to see their main account on a read-only basis.
Depending on account permissions and product availability, the supported trading functions include spot, margin, Convert and two categories of futures.
Transfers are limited to moving funds between wallets inside an agent subaccount, such as transferring assets from spot to USD-margined futures. Binance says its MCP Server cannot withdraw funds to external addresses.
The system operates through a separate subaccount isolated from the user’s main account. Binance advises users to check the available orders and transfers before approving a request.
Earlier AI tools focused on trading
Binance introduced its initial AI trading Skills on March 3, covering market information, wallet data, order execution and token analysis.
Those tools supported conditional orders, including one-cancels-the-other and one-triggers-one-cancels-the-other structures. The available analytics also included smart-money signals and contract-risk detection.
A March 12 update added four Skills focused on USD-margined futures, margin trading, Binance Alpha data and asset management.
The Binance Alpha tool allows agents to access token listings, exchange information, candlestick charts, aggregated trading data and 24-hour price statistics through official APIs without API keys.
