A combined $77.07m worth of BEAT, EIGEN and ZETA tokens is due to hit the market on 1 August, piling fresh supply into three crypto projects at a time when two of them are already under price pressure.
Data platform RootData says the bulk of the new issuance will come from Audiera’s BEAT token, which has surged 32.1% over the past week but now faces a sizeable increase in tradable supply.
At 09:00 Beijing time on 1 August, Audiera is scheduled to unlock 21.25 million BEAT, an allocation valued at around $67.78m. RootData calculates that this tranche represents 6.87% of BEAT’s current circulating supply.
Earlier in the day, EigenCloud is set to release 38.35 million EIGEN at 05:00 Beijing time, a package worth about $7.87m. ZetaChain will add 44.43 million ZETA at midnight in Beijing, with the two events accounting for 5.18% and 2.94% of their respective circulating supplies, according to RootData.
BEAT rally meets a wall of new supply
Price data from CoinGecko shows BEAT trading close to $3.16 after moving between $2.19 and $3.69 over the last seven days. Despite the strong weekly gain, the token has already fallen roughly 14% from its recent peak and slipped 1% in the most recent 24-hour period.
Daily trading volume in BEAT reached $37.84m, up 148% on the previous day. Even so, RootData’s $67.78m valuation for the unlock is almost 1.8 times that turnover. Reported volume, however, does not directly indicate how much buy-side liquidity exists to absorb any selling by recipients of the new tokens.
Using CoinGecko’s estimate of 309.27 million BEAT currently in circulation, the 21.25 million release would push that figure towards 330.52 million if all newly unlocked tokens were to be sold or otherwise enter the market. At the price checked, the event is equivalent to roughly 7% of Audiera’s $965.6m market capitalisation.
Audiera’s latest update, covering 13–20 July, reported revenue of 800,530 BEAT over that week, worth $1.84m at the project’s stated price. Over the same period it burned 797,230 BEAT, taking the total amount permanently removed from supply to 17.04 million.
“Over 17.04M BEAT permanently removed from circulation,” Audiera wrote on 20 July.
The upcoming unlock dwarfs those figures. The 21.25 million BEAT due to be released is around 26.7 times the most recent weekly burn and exceeds all reported cumulative burns by 4.21 million tokens. If burning continued at the 20 July pace, a single week’s burn would offset only about 3.75% of the incoming supply, leaving more than 20 million newly unlocked tokens unmatched.
Key price levels watched by traders
BEAT’s recent trading range has set out several levels that traders are monitoring. On the upside, $3.69 – last week’s high – marks the first area of resistance; a move above that threshold would take the token beyond its seven-day range, while another failure could signal a continuation of the pullback.
On the downside, the first near-term reference level is the recent daily low at $2.80, followed by the weekly floor at $2.19. A slide from $3.16 back to $2.19 would amount to a drop of roughly 31%, reversing the token’s most recent advance and returning it to the level where the latest rally began.
Market analysis account CrowdWisdom360 has highlighted an additional support area between those lows, noting: “If BEAT holds above the $2.45 support, a retest of the $2.60 resistance is likely. A break below $2.45 risks a drop toward $2.30.”
Sentiment among CoinGecko’s community leans negative despite BEAT’s weekly gains. In a recent poll, 60% of respondents chose a bearish outlook. The survey does not track actual positions but does indicate that the recent rally has not dispelled concerns about volatility or the impact of the approaching unlock.
EIGEN and ZETA slide into unlock
While BEAT has climbed ahead of 1 August, EIGEN and ZETA have been drifting lower.
CoinGecko data places EIGEN around $0.203 after a 12.6% fall over seven days and a further 7.2% decline in the previous 24 hours. Daily trading volume stands at $16.09m, meaning the $7.87m EigenCloud unlock is equivalent to about 49% of a single day’s turnover.
ZETA has been trading around $0.0319 following a 9% loss over the past week and a 5.1% drop in 24 hours. With daily volume near $4.07m, the $1.42m ZetaChain release corresponds to roughly 35% of one day’s trading.
CoinGecko details how ZETA’s 44.43 million-token allocation will be divided: 13.13 million ZETA is earmarked for core contributors, 12.83 million for the protocol treasury, and 9.33 million for purchasers and advisers. Additional tranches go to ecosystem growth, user incentives and liquidity incentives.
For EIGEN, CoinGecko lists a slightly smaller unlock than RootData, putting the figure at 36.82 million tokens. Of that total, 19.75 million is assigned to investors and 17.07 million to early contributors. RootData’s higher 38.35 million figure would still represent 5.18% of supply on its numbers, but CoinMarketCap’s larger circulating-supply estimate would reduce that to 4.64%.
Timing and market impact
Because the unlock schedule is set to Beijing time, all three events will fall on 31 July for traders in the United States.
ZETA’s midnight Beijing release lands at 12:00 EDT, EIGEN’s 05:00 Beijing unlock corresponds to 17:00 EDT, and BEAT’s 09:00 Beijing event is due at 21:00 EDT.
That timing means ZETA and EIGEN will be unlocked during or just after regular US trading hours, while BEAT enters the market later in the evening. Although crypto markets operate continuously, liquidity conditions and the speed at which recipients move tokens to exchanges during those windows may influence how rapidly the new supply reaches order books.
None of the available datasets can show whether recipients are planning to sell their allocations once unlocked. Transfers to exchanges after the events would provide a clearer indication of selling pressure, while continued custody, staking or treasury management would restrict the amount immediately available for trading.
RootData’s dollar estimates remain subject to price moves before 1 August, but the number of tokens due for release is fixed under the published schedules. Based on current CoinGecko price and volume readings, only BEAT goes into the unlock with a momentum-driven “fear of missing out” backdrop, while EIGEN and ZETA approach the same date with falling prices and weaker demand.
