The U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ) is seizing greater than $28 million value of Bitcoin (BTC) from a hacker accused of collaborating in a ransomware assault that impacted victims everywhere in the world.

Sebastien Vachon-Desjardins, 34, of Quebec, is accused of working ransomware referred to as “NetWalker,” which focused corporations, municipalities, hospitals, legislation enforcement, emergency companies, faculty districts, schools and universities.
