Authorities in Miri have uncovered a clandestine community of cryptocurrency mining operations, seizing 110 servers throughout a focused crackdown on energy theft in collaboration with utility supplier Syarikat Sesco Berhad.
The raids, performed over two days throughout store homes and residential premises in Pujut and Taman Boulevard, yielded a major cache of cryptocurrency mining servers, marking a major breakthrough within the battle in opposition to illicit energy consumption, Sarawak Vitality Berhad disclosed in a press release.
